About Rob

The product of a farmworker family, Rob was born in Fresno and attended K-12 schools in the City and throughout the Valley. Rob was the first in his family to graduate from college. Immediately after law school, he returned home to serve the communities that raised him.

Throughout Fresno, Rob has been a champion of building safer, healthier neighborhoods. He serves on the City of Fresno Planning Commission, where he has promoted smart land use and community development.

As a public interest attorney, Rob has defended the rights of workers and working families, and he has served on the board of California Rural Legal Assistance (CRLA) and as a volunteer for Kids in Need of Defense (KIND).

Rob is deeply committed to educating the next generation of students. Today, he works as a law professor at San Joaquin College of Law.
